How many times have you said “Oh my word, I reeeallly wish that the Black Drop delivered”?
BOOM! WISH GRANTED!
Starting on Tuesday, July 31st, the Black Drop will be starting a COFFEE DELIVERY SERVICE within a 5 block walking radius of the Drop, every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday morning, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.
HOW IT WORKS:
To have coffee delivered to you and make your day about a bazillion times better than it was before, just follow these easy steps:
1.) Go visit the fine folks at the Drop at any point during business hours, and pre-load your account with money. We are capable of loading any amount in any denomination to your account, which is filed in our computer system by your last name.
2.) Call us on a delivery day, starting at 7 a.m. when the shop opens, and order your coffee. Orders must be placed by the end of the half hour period preceding your delivery time. For 8 a.m. delivery, coffee must be ordered no later than 7:30 a.m. For 8:30, order must be placed by 8 a.m.
Example: You’re in your office at 7:20 and staring at the clock, waiting for your 9 a.m. break, thinking you won’t survive without coffee until then. You pick up the phone and call the Black Drop at 360-738-3767, and tell us what you are in need of to continue your survival. We charge the drink (and pastry, if so desired) to your pre-loaded account, and ask you what half hour you would like this delivered, and inform you that the next delivery time available is 8:00. This sounds awesome to you, so you say “YES PLEASE.” Around 8ish, Steph shows up with your order and a reciept to tell you how much money is left on your pre-loaded account, so that you can keep track. Also, Steph will be showing up to deliver most days with her little one “helping,” so if you haven’t yet met Beatrice, now’s your chance!
3.) You get delicious coffee, delivered with a smile, to you, with no extra charge for the delivery.
Some (kinda obvious) caveats:
–No cash will be accepted for orders. Orders will be put on accounts ONLY.
–Your account must be loaded with enough money to cover your order. If you call in a coffee order, and your order places your account into the negative, your order will be delivered, and you will be informed both on the phone and on delivery that you need to refill your account before another delivery can be made. Payments to your account have to be made in person at the Drop. We want your personal financial information to say safe, so we don’t want your credit card information laying around, or being given over the phone. We also don’t want Stephanie carrying around a bunch of cash while she’s running all over town. We would rather give your your receipt with your balance on it, in person, so there is no confusion.
–All drinks ordered will be worked into the line of drinks, and Steph will be delivering in half hour batches. If you place your order for an 8 a.m. delivery, it will show up between 8 and 8:30 a.m. This is so your coffee comes to you as hot and fresh as we can possibly make it, so she will be making several trips during each delivery batch.
–Free doppios are obviously excluded from this offer on Fridays. Wanna enjoy a free doppio? Come down, spend a minute relaxing, and enjoy it at the Drop.
–This is obviously a brand new direction and system for us. There will be kinks, we are sure. However, we welcome any and all suggestions, and appreciate your patience while we try to offer just another way for you to enjoy the best coffee in town from your favorite coffee shop around.
